Yesterday's Most Memorable Conversation


Question: What was the most memorable conversation you had yesterday? Who were you talking to and what did they say to you?

Answer: The most memorable conversation I had yesterday was about the English debate competition I did on last Sunday. I was talking to my English teacher in elementary school. He congratulated me and my team for winning the competition. He was one of the best teachers I've ever had back in elementary school yet we haven't talked for such a long time. Although it was a short conversation, I dare to say that it was a pretty much memorable one as well.

Pak Slamet: "Congratulations, Kenenza! You and your team did such a great job."

Me: "Thank you very much, sir!"

Pak Slamet: "What was the motion of the debate?"

Me: "It was different for each round, sir. The first one was 'Vocational school is better than senior high school', the second one was 'Religion Subject Should Be Eliminated From Schools', and the final motion was 'TPA Should Be Brought Back to SNBT'. 

Pak Slamet: "That's nice! May success and prosperity always follow you to wherever you go and whatever you do. Good luck on your study!"

Me: "Amen! Again, thank you so much, sir. Take care of yourself, I wish you good health and happiness for the rest of your lifetime."

Hello, citizen of the net! It's nice to see you again. Today is my first English lesson on 11th grade so here I'll be talking about the first chapter of our book.  Our teacher threw this trigger question: "What comes to your mind when you hear the phrase 'digital literacy'?" In my opinion, I see digital literacy as one's ability to find, use, create, and evaluate information using information and communication technology by reading, writing, and listening. It's a combination of other soft skills as well, like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
